Master Clue

It will not be easy but we will provide master clues (also known as master keys) after you have collected a series of "basic" keys. These will be very tough and to most will not make sense.

A number of puzzles will be time sensitive. I have created a series of pages that once visited, will only be available for a short time. Should you discover a secret area, you may want to note everything you see or find. If the page should disappear, then you will have to find it a different way as it may be renamed or appear at a different location.

These puzzles are not always designed to be easy. Some are designed to only be solved by 1-2 people while others allow as many as 30-50 solutions.

You may want to take a breather every now and then. Follow doctors orders and get lots of rest and drink lots of water.

What does GRID stand for?

What is the GRID?
The GRID is an online site that will present details about Gordon Currie´s recent trip to CYAN. Details will include pictures and information about the many current projects underway at CYAN Inc.

How often is information released?
Information will be released every 2-3 days with major clues or changes every 4-5 days.

What sorts of things will you release?
Pictures taken at CYAN, information on the word ( Behlehtsahrah ) and the picture associated with it, D´niGuild, the two books under development and many other previously unreleased information.

Where can I find clues and hints?
On the Riven Lyst, Rivenguild, Myst & Riven Links site, and many other places we have yet to announce.

Is the GRID associated with CYAN?
No. The GRID is totally independent of CYAN Inc. and the project is part of the Rivenguild website.

Will I have to solve puzzles?
Oh yes....

Will I need to learn the Dni Language?
Yes, it would not hurt to know the basics and the numbers.

If I find a clue or hint, can I post it on the Riven Lyst or share it with others?
We would ask that you think about what you want to post. Some puzzles and links will come and go and we will limit information to only the first few that meet the challenge. Let others  discover the secrets on their own. Some secrets can only be discovered by 2-3 people at a time.

Does this mean I can't share what I find on the Riven Lyst or newsgroups / webboards?
You can share, just be careful you don't give it all away. Some people may wish to form GRID teams to tackle this together. The choice is yours.

What sort of diabolical mind dreamt up the GRID?
A very strange man with a unique tattoo on his upper left arm. A tattoo so ancient one has to wonder if he is human and not D´ni.

TIPS TO HELP YOU MAKE THE TRIP

Makes lots of notes. Clues are released every few days. Some are easy to find and others are well hidden.

Clues may be simple words, phrases, numbers, symbols or graphics.

Look for patterns ( words, numbers etc).

Monitor Titles on web pages on the site and ALT tags on the graphics. They may change daily or weekly.

The GRID series is designed to entertain and satisfy everyones curiousity. Those who discover certain areas and clues will be rewarded. Some areas or solutions and secrets will only be available to the first 2-3 people who find them. After that, others will find them but have to take different routes. Things change, journeys take different paths.

Research keywords and phrases.

Review the existing D'ni websites on the Net as some of them hold clues that are well hidden.
